_{Echolocation By sending out a frequency that cannot be perceived by human/leiian/thear ears but that Linnaea's antennas can perceive, Linn can "hear" her surroundings in exchange (like a bat) for giving up her eye sight. The larger the range she sets, the shorter she can keep it up.
Privation Linn sucks energy out of an object/body with a direct hit. The effects upon being hit vary: So, in case she hits ur body, the respective part of your body will be numbed for a couple seconds. If she hits an object, it will crumble at the respective spot.
Deflection Deflects light from an object, causing the object to not be seen anymore. In case Linnaea targets eyes, this will cause the targeted person to lose their vision for the time the skill is kept up. She can keep it up for 5 minutes if the object is small and not moving. The larger the object and the more it’s moving the shorter does the skill last though.

Linnaea indeed is a very self-confident woman, straightforward in pretty much everything she does. At that, she can be irritating quite often but, at least, you can be rather sure that Linnaea does not act in front of you. She won’t stray from her opinion if she is convinced of it – and she has a strong opinion of this and that.
Well, truth to be told though, she simply likes irritating people too. She does not exactly mean harm by it, mind you, but she does like seeing you falter a bit.
Still, Linnaea does not act viciously on purpose, it is just in her nature.
Being a very whimsical being she acts based on emotion, often just doing whatever she feels like – and it doesn’t rarely end in her dragging you into fighting a mob of enemies, sneaking into enemy hideouts of destroying a mine as she is simply drawn to action, dangers and risks she quickly grows bored of conversation. She needs to move to be in a good mood – having her sit around idly is the best way to get her irritated, actually. Other than that though, she is quite calm at mind; insults or threats don’t affect her a bit – seeing as she does like to have a bit of a fight she’ll likely react to such anyway, just for the sake of some… exercise =v=b
Still, she isn’t one to break the rules just for the fun of it – despite how she might act due to her blunt nature, she does know what rationality is. Although, yes, she decides not to use it now and then.

Anyway, if she considers you a friend, you will find a very different Linn. She will be less blunt, much, much kinder and affectionate and definitely protective of you, pulling you out of every mess and defending you whenever it should be possible.
If you get onto her bad side thou, you won’t have to do more than just be present to have her flame at you~

♦ History Linnaea had a very bright childhood which is due to her father who always treated his beloved daughter as someone very precious. This is also the cause for why she has never grieved for her mother, who died a few years after her birth. As she still was very young at that time she does not even really remember her.
However, growing up with only a male role model, she turned out to become quite a tomboy. The fact that her father leads a martial arts school, that Linnaea was trained ever since she made her first step and that most of her peers were guys added to this development.
With 7 she already switched to the advanced class, as she was far ahead of the children her age. Thus, she was surrounded by mostly teens and some adults in the advanced class.
The childish, cheeky & bright kid loved to spar with the boys in her group – especially with one. The two of them always teased each other and it soon became obvious that she liked him #u#. Actually, she was stronger than him and could’ve beaten him in fights anytime. As she had a crush on him she always let him win, so that he would not dislike her, though. Poor naïve Linnaea soon got her heart broken when the boy told her that her scales were super gross .
At that time she became very angry and didn’t show any indulgence anymore, gave it her all and promptly defeated him. That brat dared to be angry and wanted one rematch after the other – just to be defeated over and over again. Having come to hate her he conceitedly announced that he would become a powerful mage and defeat her. _{why you like that, you mean children! D8}

She was 13 at that time and up to that point she never was really aware of her gender and didn’t quite distinguish between females and males.
She cried that night and decided that she’d become so good that she’d never lose to that brat. But as she failed to distinguish between sadness and anger and couldn’t handle her emotions she became very aggressive and short tempered at that time.
Training martial arts became her purpose in life and she also started working with daggers back then. Moreover it was then that she developed a sense of self-consciousness - and especially of being female. That also went pretty overboard as her image of a female was quite… well let’s say contorted.
When she again was able to overpower most of her peers she looked for fights elsewhere. In order to prove that she had become strong and attractive at night she sneaked out to the shady districts of the town and challenged the folks there. It turned out that she could defeat quite some people there too. Many of the older and more experienced people were stronger than her though and she was beaten countless times. She would not always get away with only bruises and scars though. As she already developed a rather female body by that time she would also provide other physical deeds.
Linnaea, believing in a hierarchy of strength before anything else and favoring a contorted image of females, would not be opposed to that though. _{why u like that, my OC? D8}

As Linnaea grew older and gained more experience she finally matured. Slowly, she managed to overcome her short temper and now is a reliable person.
She became even more skilled in martial arts and even took over the kids’ classes in her father’s martial arts’ school. During nighttime she would still go to her favorite places though – ones that are considered dangerous and filthy.
Recently her father took the slightest notice of her nightly activities and because Linnaea does not want him to know what she does at night she left her hometown Alrose with the excuse of wanting to experience something new – in Pennute.

In order to earn her living she –again- teaches kids at a martial arts school in the afternoon. During nighttime she works as a bouncer, which she loves, because it often gives her an excuse for throwing some punches. She sleeps in late into afternoons mornings.

It's been a while that she has moved to Pennute and by now Linnaea has found a place for herself there, friends and people she considers family. It has bettered her temper a lot, actually.

<sub>◊ She is such a sleepyhead. In the morning she is too lazy for many things, but that is also the time when she is likely to fall into thought.
◊ She has high body temperature, which is why she dislikes heat and likes cold.
◊ Her father taught her how to go on horseback. He also taught her that it’s important to eat many vegetables.
◊ Her antennas are very sensitive to waves which enables her to hear movements and provides her with an advantage while fighting. Crowds sometimes drive her insane though.
◊ Her scales are very practical as some sort of defense as they are very hard. Of course they can be ripped out with the right means, which is very painful for her.
◊ Her name means: Linnaea - a pink flower; An’ya – “Dark night” in Japanese
Her mother chose her given name.
◊ She's pretty much never afraid of getting injuries but rather she is when people she wouldn't expect to become violent
